As you can see the kitchen area is large and is always the main gathering area for the seniors. Some seniors help out in the kitchen making their favorite dishes or helping with the clean up.
There is a dining table that seats four that is used for daily meals or afternoon social interaction. With the large Island in the center of the kitchen, meals are prepared here or you can pull up a bar stool and enjoy a quick snack. |

The Dinning Area
The large dinning table seats four very comfortable and is used for daily meals and the odd board game or card game.
Meals are sometimes served in the dinning as a buffet style for special occasions |

The main living area is situated like your own living room and has all the comforts of home including, recliners, rocking chairs and satellite television where all the favorites shows are watched.
There are fresh puzzles provided from the community, books from the local library just waiting to be read.

Each room is private
No sharing here, this allows seniors their own privacy and piece and quiet when they need it.
Although the bed rooms come fully furnished you add or take away whatever furniture you like to make the room more like home. |

There are a total of 4 bathrooms at Heather Brook and all are equipped with hand rails or transfer aids to assist seniors while using the facilities.
There is plenty of room to get around and and fresh linen changed daily.

There is plenty of room for outside luncheons and picnics. Most seniors walk around the house everyday for exercise or participate in the many activities outside.
There are strawberry, raspberry and rhubarb that can be picked for making fresh home baked pies. |
